Public robotaxi rides in Las Vegas launched on September 10, 2025. In plain terms, a robotaxi is a self-driving taxi with no driver on board. Zoox started charging fares on August 10, 2026.

Zoox Las Vegas Service Area

There are 15 fixed spots around the resort corridor where Zoox collects riders and drops them off. The resort corridor covers the big hotels and casinos along the Strip and close by. Pickups and drop-offs happen at these designated stops, not at random street addresses.

Zoox now also serves the Las Vegas Convention Center, plus most major Strip hotels.

Where Zoox Can Take You

Here are some of the destinations you can reach:

  • Most major Strip hotels
  • AREA15
  • Resorts World
  • The Las Vegas Convention Center
  • Topgolf
  • Sphere
  • Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)

The app displays every stop on the list. Check it before you travel, as the stop list keeps expanding.

Hours, Fares, and Destination Fees

Each day, service runs between 6 a.m. and 1 a.m.. Booking and payment happen inside the Zoox app, available for iPhone and Android.

Some stops come with a destination fee. This is added to the regular fare when you ride to a busy location. Zoox adds this charge for airport, Sphere, or T-Mobile Arena.

Taking Zoox to and From the Airport

Service at Harry Reid International Airport started on September 3, 2026. Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 have Zoox pickup and drop-off points.

Can You Book Zoox on Uber?

Not right now. Zoox rides inside the Uber app are on the plan, though the launch has moved to later this year. Booking through the Zoox app remains the only option today.

Other Robotaxis in Las Vegas

Zoox has company in Las Vegas. The other self-driving services are at these stages:

  • Motional: Rides have been available through Uber since March 13, 2026.
  • Waymo: Public service started in September 2026, opening up gradually rider by rider. Airport rides for a limited group of current riders began in October 2026, with pickups on Ground Zero Level at both terminals.
  • Tesla Robotaxi: Planned for Las Vegas, with no date given.

What Is a Driverless Taxi in Las Vegas Like Inside?

With Zoox, the usual front seat setup doesn't exist. Because it has no steering wheel or pedals, all of its seats are meant for passengers. Every ride in Las Vegas is fully driverless.
