About Zoox
The company builds and operates its own robotaxi service. Its vehicle has no steering wheel or pedals, which means nobody sits in a driver's seat.
The cabin uses carriage seating. The seats face one another, much like a horse-drawn carriage from long ago. Every seat comes with its own music and temperature controls.
The Las Vegas fleet has been running on and near the Strip since September 10, 2025. Riders there get a driverless service open to everyone.
Getting the Zoox App
The Zoox app runs on iPhone and Android. Download it from the App Store or through Google Play.
In the app, you pick your destination and ask for a ride. Your car's license plate also appears there, so you know which vehicle to look for. Need help during a journey? You can contact remote support from the app or use the Help button inside the car.
Riding in Las Vegas
- Open the app, choose your destination, and request the ride.
- Head to the ride-hail zone at your pickup spot. That's where your Zoox will meet you.
- Compare the license plate shown in the app with the one on the car before getting in.
- Once the doors slide open, find a seat.
- If you like, change the music and temperature from where you sit.
